Zuhal Yeşim Dursun

I was born in 1976 in Istanbul. In 1999, I graduated from ITU Control and Computer Engineering Department.

I have focused more on illustrating after attending to Işık Güner's "Little Squares" Workshop in 2014. My interests on observing the nature and growing plants are very well suited to Scientific Botanical Illustration. So that, I have gone further and got training at the Scientific Botanical Illustration Course of Hülya Korkmaz (2014 – 2017). Meanwhile, I was raising my two little daughters and children books have became a part of my life. Between 2018 and 2020, I have completed the Online Illustration course offered by London Art College to gain a more comprehensive view in the field of illustrating.

Out of tiredness brought by my profession, I keep myself away from computers as much as possible. Passionately, I illustrate outcomes of my nature with classical materials like paper, watercolor, inkpen, colour pens and pencils.
